I just found your podcast a few weeks ago, and I am hooked. I am a type 2 diabetic and am currently taking Mounjaro, 6 months in. I started at 268lbs but now I'm at 215. I've been having blood work done every 3-6 months, and my testosterone levels are around 285. The doctor finally said I qualified for testosterone treatment. My issue is this: my RCB has been elevated, and ferritin levels are around 600. However, my last lab came back perfectly normal, which is very confusing to me. I actually have an appointment with a hematologist on Friday. I lift 3-4 days a week but am not following a specific routine. Since being on the GLP-1 medication, I have lost a ton of strength, and I try to get my protein intake in, but with the medicine, I physically can’t eat enough. I know you guys have mentioned this side effect of a GLP-1. Do you have any suggestions or recommendations to help get my strength back and testosterone levels up? I used to lift heavy 12 years ago, and now the weights are almost embarrassing.
