This initiative, inspired by , aimed to democratize art by allowing replicas to travel and be displayed globally, overcoming the limitations of fragile originals 3. Dr. Antoine's role was crucial in ensuring the color accuracy of these replicas, which involved advanced digital techniques to capture the essence of the original artworks 4.

    There was a purpose. There was a mission at Polaroid that Dr. Edwin Land thought of, that he wanted to make artwork more accessible to everyone in the world.

    We were working toward goal zero, and we were pretty much closely there in that five year period.
