HPV Awareness and Testing

HPV is the most common sexually transmitted infection in the U.S. and is linked to both cervical and throat cancers. While women have established screening through Pap smears, men lack similar testing for HPV-related throat cancer, which has been on the rise. A new, highly accurate test for oropharyngeal HPV has been developed, aiming to fill this critical gap in cancer screening.
