Susan Ramirez's journey from corporate America to founding National Angels was sparked by a transformative experience at a foster and adoption conference. Initially focused on climbing the corporate ladder, Susan's perspective shifted dramatically when she learned about the harsh realities faced by children in foster care. She realized the urgent need for every child to have a stable, loving adult presence in their lives, which led her to establish National Angels.

Vision

The vision for National Angels is ambitious, aiming to transform the foster care experience across the United States. Susan's commitment to this cause has seen the organization grow from a local initiative to a national movement, now operating in 19 cities across 14 states. Her leadership and strategic approach have been pivotal in achieving this impact, with the organization serving 3,000 children monthly.

I want to run this so differently than any nonprofit that I know of, and I want to change the foster care experience in Central Texas.
