How can I utilize ADHD to my advantage?
I have ADHD and I am pretty smart; I have a 3.8 GPA in stats and a 3.9 Math GPA at UW-Madison, and I graduate this December. I am working for a Fortune 100 company as an analyst this summer. What I notice is that it takes me a long time to complete tasks like building decks and presentations. Is this normal? For example, when navigating ambiguous projects, I find it takes me longer to analyze all my data and synthesize it. I often do tons of almost repetitive research before I really begin to understand things, and I frequently don’t realize I'm doing this until later in my research journey. It feels like I complete the same project over and over again, sometimes doing the same thing multiple times without even realizing it. Is this common for someone with ADHD?
