I keep waking up around the same time every morning, and it's about 1-2 hours before I'd like to wake up in order to feel refreshed. I've developed a habit of grabbing my phone and putting on a podcast to get me back to sleep. If I don't do this, then I normally can't get back to sleep, often because I feel tight and anxious in my body. What can I do to solve this problem and sleep straight through to my desired wake-up time?
How can I improve my consistency in adopting these habits?
According to the schedule I've outlined, here are the habits I want to adopt: 1. Sleep 7.5 hours per night (9:30 PM - 5:00 AM) 2. Work out 6 days per week (3 days home workout, 3 days running) — my current fitness level is zero. 3. Meditate for 10 minutes daily — this is a habit I'm already good at and can easily do. 4. Study for at least 6-7 hours daily, but I need to be more consistent. 5. Maintain a gratitude journal daily without quitting after 5-6 days. 6. Break my sugar tea habit. 7. Be consistent with Andrew Huberman's suggestions for morning and evening breathing and morning/evening sunlight exposure. How can I improve my consistency in adopting these habits?
