Youth Mental Health Crisis

The pandemic has significantly affected children's mental health, with many missing out on crucial social interactions and routines. A staggering 140,000 children have lost caregivers to Covid-19, while anxiety and depression rates among youth have surged. Even before the pandemic, a CDC study revealed a troubling increase in feelings of hopelessness among high school students, highlighting the urgent need for open discussions and better support for mental health in young people.
