Rising from Poverty

Growing up in poverty, Jackie faced numerous challenges, including losing her father just before graduating high school. His struggle to raise six children with limited resources instilled in her a determination to break the cycle of hardship. College became her first significant step toward a brighter future, fueled by the desire to create a better life for herself.
