I keep waking up around the same time every morning, and it's about 1-2 hours before I'd like to wake up in order to feel refreshed. I've developed a habit of grabbing my phone and putting on a podcast to get me back to sleep. If I don't do this, then I normally can't get back to sleep, often because I feel tight and anxious in my body. What can I do to solve this problem and sleep straight through to my desired wake-up time?
How can I fine-tune my morning wake-up routine?
I just listened to the 'How to Defeat Shift Work, Jet Lag' show. I am interested in improving my sleep. In the past 6 months, I typically fell asleep around 12:30 AM and woke up around 8:30 AM. I am looking to: 1. Figure out my temperature high and low times. 2. Figure out how to shift my times so I am falling asleep around 11 PM and waking up around 6 AM.
