I’m currently a residential electrician, and I’ve been doing this for over three years, but I’m feeling burnt out and no longer have passion for it. I’ve been listening to your podcast for about a year, and you mentioned that working in a big box gym before starting your own business is the best route to go.
I recently started looking around at personal training jobs in Colorado, but I’m just not sure if I want to take the leap into personal training because I’m unsure if I will make enough to cover my financial obligations. I have a question about this episode and this clip. As a busy dad of three who drives a truck for a living and spends a few days out of town every week, it's difficult for me to grasp the idea of transitioning from this lifestyle to being a full-time personal trainer. My fiancé works predominantly remote. You guys have changed my life and allowed me to find my purpose, which is training, and I'm forever thankful. Am I overthinking and should I make the jump to full-time personal training? Or is there a better way to gradually enter this career change? Thank you so much.
