Semantic Scholar Project

Matthew discusses leveraging unlabeled data from Semantic Scholar for information extraction tasks in research articles. Their system, a precursor to Elmo, won a shared task competition and was integrated into the production Semantic Scholar system. The project expanded to cover all of PubMed, displaying rich semantic information in academic search results.
