    embarked on the journey of creating Muzmatch driven by a personal challenge and a gap in the market. Initially an investment banker, he was inspired to create a platform for Muslims to find partners after realizing the inadequacy of existing options. Shahzad's motivation was fueled by his own experiences and the desire to solve a problem he deeply understood.

    I understood the problem. If I look at it now and I think, who could do not in an arrogant way, but maybe you have to believe it, who can do a better job than us?

    The technical journey of Muzmatch was fraught with challenges, especially for Shahzad, who had to learn coding from scratch. He faced numerous hurdles, including mastering complex programming languages and overcoming app crashes. Shahzad's perseverance was key, as he forced himself to be uncomfortable and learn through trial and error.

    You have to force yourself to be uncomfortable. I remember when I was doing the iOS app, and this was three months in, and I remember one was push notifications that nearly killed me.

    Muzmatch's growth journey involved strategic iterations and bold decisions, such as revamping the user interface and scaling globally. Shahzad was not afraid to take risks, like deleting user data to improve the app's functionality, which ultimately paid off. The app now boasts over 4 million members and 100,000 successful marriages, marking its success in the competitive dating app market.

    We've rebuilt it three times now, and we're approaching our fourth, which, and I would say this call it fourth rebuild, is probably the only one that's been more of a genuine iteration.
