My question is not that complicated and I think so I know the answer. It's like a confirmation I need from you guys. So I've taken a job which requires me about 90 minutes to commute one way. So it's about 3 hours minimum. Sometimes it goes into 4 hours and then my hours are, I mean, I'm going to move closer to work, but it's in July and it's still three to four months and the work is eight to five, which is another 9 hours. So I still train five days a week, which I want to reduce to four because I'm getting tired, but I don't. And I always hear you guys talk about steps like walk every day. And I use walk also to get out of the house because I still don't have a social life as in friends to go out with or hang out with, I think. So you guys have become my friend. I hang out with you guys all the time. With that I eat 1800 calories and I'm only 152, which is 411. I was about to say four. 1411. Not that small. And I weigh 50 kilos right now. My body fat is 18%. It was 14% at the comp.
I suspect that I'm overtrained. I've been doing heavy weights at low reps with long rest times for pretty much the whole year. I've taken a few different weeks off here and there, but I kind of feel tired all the time and have a low libido. I was thinking about taking a four-week break away from weightlifting. For Weeks 1 and 2, I thought about doing a 30-minute walk on the treadmill and a 10-minute stretch or foam roll. Then, in Weeks 3 and 4, I would continue with the walks but start a 3-day band routine. After Week 4, I would slowly go back into my weightlifting routine. Is this a solid plan?
My next question is about macros. I’ve counted macros for a while, and I feel like I’m eating enough. How would I know the difference between eating too much, which would explain the weight plateau/gain, versus still overtraining/under eating?
