ADHD and Focus

ADHD presents a unique challenge where stimulants, surprisingly, help children focus rather than induce hyperactivity. Young brains are highly plastic, allowing these medications to activate focus-related networks, teaching kids how to concentrate even on less engaging tasks. While some can artificially create interest to enhance focus, children with ADHD struggle to do so, raising questions about the long-term effects of stimulant use and the implications of non-clinical usage.
