The Grail test demonstrates high specificity but low sensitivity for early-stage breast cancer detection. However, it shows a significant increase in sensitivity for more aggressive, ERPR negative cancers. This suggests that while liquid biopsies are valuable, they may be most effective when combined with traditional morphological screening methods for comprehensive cancer detection.
