Should I get my CPT and work at a big box gym, or not? Thanks for all the information you guys provide and for any insight you have for me.
I’m currently a residential electrician and have been doing this for over three years, but I’m feeling burnt out and I just don’t have passion for it anymore. I’ve been listening to you guys for about a year, and you say that working in a big box gym before starting your own business is the best route to go. I recently started looking for personal training jobs in Colorado but I’m unsure if I want to take the leap into personal training, mainly because I’m not sure if I will make enough to cover financial obligations. I feel like doing personal training will help with building my company, which I eventually plan on including training programs and maybe even in-person training sessions at some point. I’m certified as a nutritionist with ISSA and am currently working through their strength and conditioning program as well.

In the past year, I decided to help others as well and started my own nutrition coaching company. I have coached a few people, but I haven’t had much traction with bringing in others yet.
