I recently started looking around at personal training jobs in Colorado, but I’m just not sure if I want to take the leap into personal training because I’m unsure if I will make enough to cover my financial obligations. I feel like personal training would help me build my company, which I eventually plan on expanding to include training programs and possibly in-person training sessions.
I’m certified as a nutritionist with ISSA and currently working through their strength and conditioning program as well. I’d like to get some insight from you guys on whether it would be worth getting my CPT and working at a big box gym. Thanks for all the information you provide and for any advice you have for me.
As a busy dad of three who drives a truck for a living and spends a few days out of town every week, it's difficult for me to grasp the idea of transitioning from this lifestyle to being a full-time personal trainer. My fiancé works predominantly remote. You guys have changed my life and allowed me to find my purpose, which is training, and I'm forever thankful. I now have my NASM certification and am eager to fully engage in this new chapter of my life while not compromising my ability to financially provide for my family. Am I overthinking and should I make the jump to full-time personal training? Or is there a better way to gradually enter this career change? Thank you so much.
