I am writing a book on body, soul, and spirit. One theme of the book is that the brain is a miraculous computer that processes stimuli but is incapable of conscious thought. In other words, there is a separation between the brain and the mind. I have read articles from numerous neurologists and theories of ancient philosophers about the existence and nonexistence of this separation.
