Nazi Escape Routes

Many Nazis exploited ratlines to flee Europe, often aided by sympathizers and corrupt officials. South America emerged as a prime destination, particularly Argentina, where a large German population and support from President Peron facilitated their escape. Peron actively assisted former Nazis, even denouncing the Nuremberg trials and providing them with the means to start anew.
