Rise of Michelangelo

Michelangelo emerged from a modest background, shaped by the loss of his mother and an early exposure to marble in a quarry. By the age of 14, he was already earning as an apprentice, a rarity for his age, and soon caught the attention of Lorenzo de Medici, who welcomed him into his palace. Immersed in the vibrant artistic community of Florence, Michelangelo began creating works that would soon captivate the world.
