Revolutionary Calendar Changes

A radical new calendar system was proposed, featuring twelve months of 30 days each, with a unique ten-day week structure. The additional five days at the year's end, known as les sans culatides, were designated as holidays celebrating various virtues. Each month was renamed to reflect seasonal changes, introducing a fresh perspective on timekeeping in post-revolutionary France.
