Tornado Formation Explained

Tornadoes are born from supercells, where differing wind speeds create rotating columns of air, leading to dramatic weather phenomena. While tornadoes cause significant damage, other vortexes like dust devils and waterspouts also exist, often going unnoticed. The concentration of tornadoes is highest in Tornado Alley, spanning the Great Plains of North America.
