George revolutionized the field with the introduction of dry gel and celluloid film, paving the way for the Kodak camera that made photography accessible to the masses. Color photography, initially a complex endeavor, saw significant advancements with the Lumiere brothers' autochrome plate and later the introduction of Kodachrome film, transforming the visual landscape.
