Terraforming Mars Challenges

Mars' weak gravity and lack of a magnetic field pose significant challenges for terraforming efforts. Without protection from solar winds, the planet continues to lose its atmosphere, making any attempts to create a habitable environment daunting and costly. The feasibility of using a large electromagnet at a strategic point in space offers a potential, albeit complex, solution, but the immense time and financial resources required make such a project unlikely in the near future.
