I am going to a psychologist because I feel emotionless most of the time, experience manic episodes with hyperactivity and bursts of creativity, and have very down periods. When I feel 'normal,' I tend to overthink everything, which makes me very tired and socially isolated. These issues may have underlying causes such as trauma, but the fact that my neural circuits keep wiring this way concerns me.
