Understanding Boundaries
Setting boundaries with kids can often be misinterpreted as a lack of respect when, in reality, children may simply be engrossed in their activities. Engaging in play or screen time can make it difficult for them to access the mindfulness needed to stop. Parents are encouraged to embody their authority by actively managing boundaries, not out of a belief that their child is bad, but to support their development and help them learn self-regulation.In this clip
