Growing up in New Zealand, Paul’s entrepreneurial spirit was influenced by his father's ventures. His journey into software began unexpectedly while working for a pork processing company, where he automated processes in abattoirs, blending hardware and software development. This unique experience solidified his passion for building startups and problem-solving through technology.
