Race to Utah

The Central Pacific pushes to close a critical seven-mile gap in their rail line, racing against the Union Pacific in a bid for Utah territory. As they encounter the Shoshone and Paiute peoples, Charlie cleverly avoids conflict by allowing free passage on the rails. However, tales of mythical giants and snakes threaten the morale of Chinese workers, prompting swift action to reassure them and keep progress on track. By summer 1868, the stakes are high as both railroads eye the valuable territory, with pride and federal land grants hanging in the balance.
