Chasing Innovation

Justin, a former sheriff's deputy, and JD, a Stanford graduate, design a unique clothing item that can keep people comfortable in extreme weather. After putting their idea on Kickstarter, they catch the attention of the US Army, who asks them to create a cooling solution for soldiers. The duo comes up with the iceplate, a frozen water bottle that can be worn as body armor, providing cold water to drink as it melts. However, dealing with military red tape delays their contract for years.
