Heat vs. Cold Proteins

Susanna explains that heat shock proteins and cold shock proteins are essentially the same, activating stress response in cells. While cold shock proteins are immediately activated in the cold, heat shock proteins have a slower activation in the sauna. Susanna's research suggests that spending ten minutes in the sauna, two times a week, is sufficient for reaping the benefits.
