Hi there. I'm a 31-year-old female living in Belgium. I'm a mom of a 4-year-old daughter, and ever since my pregnancy, I can't lose the final weight. I quit smoking before getting pregnant and started eating instead. After that, my pregnancy and labor were very hard on me, and I had to lay down for months, plus COVID happened. I gained a lot of weight, going from 70 to 106 kgs. After giving birth, I had several surgeries, and I struggle with chronic pain. I lost weight down to 75 kgs, but that's it. Every time I hit that 75 kg mark, I plateau for weeks on end and eventually quit, letting myself go (over and over again) up to 80 kg, starting the horrific cycle all over again. I've been doing that for three years now. I hit 12k steps easily on a daily basis, as I love walking the dog, and I do a fitness routine 2/3 times a week at the gym. My previous coach dropped my calories as low as 1450 kcals, and even then, I stopped losing weight. I've tried it on 1200 kcals but also on 1750 kcals, but always with the same outcome: a huge plateau moment around 75 kgs followed by quitting. I've been so unhappy with how I feel in my body, and mostly, I just want to lose the fat to feel energized and be playful with my gorgeous daughter. I also want to feel confident in my body so that I can project confidence and ensure she won't ever feel insecure due to my own insecurities. I've tried low carb and very high protein diets, but all the extremes just ended up with me bingeing, sometimes even after months of good work. I hope you guys can give me the tools to finally succeed. I love your show; it's been a motivation through every setback. Hope to hear you soon, Olga.
I really need a lot of help with my fitness and nutrition. I was consistent for a while, starting at 135 pounds and working my way up to 196 pounds. However, I am now suffering from a lot of anxiety due to my marriage, and I have dropped down to 166 pounds in a matter of a month. I'm having a lot of trouble eating and staying consistent at the gym. As a law enforcement officer, fitness means a lot to me, and now I feel I am losing it.
