I'm desperate for help. My wife, Jeannie, was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder, anti-NMDA receptor encephalitis, almost one year ago. It took 40 days to obtain this diagnosis, and we have spent three months at the Cleveland Clinic and one month at the Dodd Rehabilitation Hospital. Jeannie came home in late December but is unable to get out of bed without the benefit of a Hoyer lift and is currently on a feeding tube. It seems we are somewhat stuck, which makes life hard because she was the primary caregiver of my special needs son, Luke. Most of this has now fallen on my daughter, Emma, who takes care of Jeannie during the day. I need to retain my job to keep insurance, but then take over when I get off work, and the grind is wearing us down. I'm searching for any options to try and help my wife, as she was someone who worked out five days a week and walked 2-3 miles a day. I heard you on Joe Rogan's Podcast, and I'm desperate for any suggestions. If you have any recommendations or anything you can share, I'd like to hear it.
I have a question about the episode 98. Motherhood Truth Bombs with Cat & Nat and the clip Thyroid Health Journey. I also have questions about the episode Katie Wells: Wellness Mama's Secrets To Non-Toxic Living + Healing From Autoimmune-Inflammation and the Autoimmunity Insights segment. Additionally, I would like to know about episode #247: An Unconventional Path to Treating Autoimmune Disease with Dr. Cynthia Li and the Health Journey Unveiled segment. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's (TPO ABs at 215). I eliminated gluten, dairy, and soy and started a CellCore detox. After 1 month, my TPO antibodies were down to 180, and within 3 months, I was pregnant after suffering from infertility for over 4 years. Now that I am pregnant, I am constantly craving things I can't have, and I am wondering what your take is on Hashimoto's and its relation to those foods. I also feel lethargic after eating chicken or eggs. What should I do?
