I have a question about the episode 132: Lane Kennedy on How to Use CBD for Sleep, Hormones, & Health and the clip Healing Through Surrender. My wife, Jeannie, was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder, anti-NMDA receptor encephalitis, almost one year ago. It took 40 days to obtain this diagnosis, and we have spent three months at the Cleveland Clinic and one month at the Dodd Rehabilitation Hospital. Jeannie came home in late December but is unable to get out of bed without the benefit of a Hoyer lift and is currently on a feeding tube. It seems we are somewhat stuck, which makes life hard because she was the primary caregiver of my special needs son, Luke. Most of this has now fallen on my daughter, Emma, who takes care of Jeannie during the day. I need to retain my job to keep insurance, but then take over when I get off work, and the grind is wearing us down. I'm searching for any options to try and help my wife, as she was someone who worked out five days a week and walked 2-3 miles a day. I heard you on Joe Rogan's Podcast, and I'm desperate for any suggestions. If you have any recommendations or anything you can share, I'd like to hear it.
I have a question about the episode 507: Dr. Greg Eckel on How to Keep Your Brain Healthy As You Age and the clip Embracing Loss. My wife recently started having some health issues, and I truly believe they could be addressed based on the protocols you advocate. We are already working with doctors, but we aren't really getting anywhere. She has lost some motor functions and couldn't walk with good balance for a while, which meant I had to drive her around. The right side of her body has now tested weaker than the left, and we just don't understand what's going on. This all happened right around the time I found your content, so I have got her to take some supplements you have recommended. Not sure if it was by chance, but she has slightly improved, though she still experiences periodic issues. I think our next step should be DNA testing, but I am nervous about trying to help her on my own and also about what the doctors may want her to do or what they may want to put her on. We are both pretty nervous, and any insight you could provide would be amazing. Apologies for the long-winded question, but your content is truly inspiring, and we are stuck with no answers right now.
