I'm very interested in everything you're doing in your podcasts and on your website. I desperately want to be a healthier me. I struggle with addiction and hate that I can't seem to break the cycle. I'm currently clean but scared that I'm going to end up right where I was before. I want to do things differently this time around and change everything, especially my health. My only problem is I can't afford it. I'm not asking for a handout; I'm just wondering if there's something I can afford. I am working but can't spare much. If there's any help out there for people like me who desperately want a healthier life, please let me know. A lot of people would love to become the ultimate human but can't afford it. Thank you for all your time and for changing people's lives through your work.
Hey Gary, I've been a follower of yours for a long time. I love your content and the message you're sending out to the world. I wanted to ask, I am a type 1 diabetic; I became diabetic just before my 18th birthday. I have always been a healthy and athletic man, and now more than ever. You speak a lot about type 2 diabetes but never really about type 1. I am curious if you know anything that the masses may not about this condition. I never truly understood why I became diabetic, and neither did the doctors. I know the general explanation of why and how it happens, but there has never been a root cause explanation. I am 22 now and doing great living as a diabetic with excellent sugar and A1C levels, but I'm always interested to know and learn more. Thanks for all you are doing in the world for healthy living.
How can I break out of the all-or-nothing mentality and find a balance that I can stick to, considering I have no real control of sleep, a low budget, inconsistent gym access, high stress, and a problem staying consistent for more than a week? This question is based on the episode Top 5 Weight Loss & Nutrition Tips From World Class Experts and the clip Embracing Balance, as well as the discussion in episode #316: Habit Mastery Through Perspective with Eric Zimmer and the clip Small Steps Matter.
