I have a question about body fat and muscle maintenance. I suffered from anorexia and bulimia from the age of 13 until 28, with my lowest weight being 72 lbs. After 28, my weight fluctuated between 180 and 110 lbs, and I developed a binge/restrict relationship with food and exercise.
Have I ruined my metabolism and ability to lose weight after being on a diet for the majority of my adulthood, developing an eating disorder, losing a significant amount of weight, and then gaining too much weight after treatment? Can I still lose weight?
