My 15-year-old daughter was prescribed levothyroxine by an endocrinologist after he saw her bloodwork. She does not have symptoms of hypothyroidism. She has stunted growth, and her menstrual period is very irregular. An X-ray of her growth plates shows they are still open. After 30 days, I took her off the levothyroxine as it was causing headaches, nausea, and brain fog. What should I do next?
