Hormones and Fitness
When faced with stubborn weight gain, it’s essential to consider hormone levels and their impact on fat storage. Regular exercise, ideally four to five times a week, combined with mindful eating, can lead to progress. If results aren’t visible after a month, consulting a doctor for hormone testing can help identify underlying issues and keep motivation high. Stay committed, and results will follow. In this clip

I'm a mom of two, and my youngest is about to turn 2. I cannot for the life of me lose the excess “baby weight” and trim down. My main goal is to continue building strength and lower my overall body fat percentage/improve my body composition. If anything, I’ve actually gained weight since the first year I was postpartum.
My next question is about macros. I’ve counted macros for a while, and I feel like I’m eating enough. How would I know the difference between eating too much, which would explain the weight plateau/gain, versus still overtraining/under eating? How long should I give my body from stopping all the hybrid training/running and returning back to weight lifting, with very minimal high-intensity work, to let my body adapt and trust the increased calories/less “intense” movement?
I have a female client in her sixties who weight trains with me three days a week and tracks her calories (not over 1500). Despite getting stronger, her body fat on the InBody scale went up and muscle mass went down. She eats when she's hungry. She is 5'3" and weighs 212 lbs. How can I help her lose body fat?
