My wife had her gallbladder removed in 2020 due to gallstones and the pain they were causing. To this day, she still experiences the same pain and constant nausea. She can only ingest liquids, as solids cause her to vomit. On average, her daily calorie intake is less than 500. We've been to multiple doctors and done many tests, but they still can't figure out what's causing her issues. One thing that the doctors don't seem to want to investigate is the Sphincter of Oddi. Is there anything that can help heal the Sphincter of Oddi, or can you suggest anything that would help her heal?
My daughter is 16 and every time she eats, she has stomach pain. We took her to a doctor to have her gallbladder checked, and they said there are no stones and essentially dismissed our concerns, including our reluctance to keep her on a prescription antacid for life.
