Playing with Ideas

Jonathan Haidt discusses the importance of being able to debate ideas without taking them personally and the increasing use of ad hominem arguments in discussions, especially among young scholars. He suggests that we need to practice taking both sides of an issue and learn from people who honestly believe something.
