Beef Consumption Impact

Reducing beef consumption by half could enable the world to feed 10 billion people by 2050 without further deforestation. While chicken and fish are better alternatives from an environmental standpoint, replacing meat with plant-based foods offers the greatest benefits. Interestingly, vegetarians often substitute meat with dairy, which has a higher environmental impact than plants, but even a vegetarian diet with some dairy can significantly reduce land use and greenhouse gas emissions.
