I have a question about body fat and muscle maintenance. I suffered from anorexia and bulimia from the age of 13 until 28, with my lowest weight being 72 lbs. After 28, my weight fluctuated between 180 and 110 lbs, and I developed a binge/restrict relationship with food and exercise. About five years ago, I started consistently weight training and dropped all cardio-based workouts. I am now 45 and find that no matter my body weight, I can't seem to drop below 25 percent body fat. Whenever I go into any type of deficit, my body immediately loses muscle. What can I do to address this issue?
