The Pixel 5 camera remains impressive, but its lead over competitors is diminishing as other smartphones catch up with superior hardware. While the software capabilities, such as exposure adjustments and night sight features, showcase Google's prowess, the reliance on software may not be sustainable long-term. The processing delays, however, are a small price to pay for the stunning results that follow.
