Nexus 6P Review!

Design

The Nexus 6P stands out with its premium build and thoughtful design. Marques Brownlee highlights its all-metal construction, chamfered edges, and the satisfying weight that contributes to its high-end feel 1. Available in graphite, aluminum, and frost, the phone's design is both sleek and functional, with flat sides that enhance grip. The camera hump, reminiscent of the Droid X, spans the phone's width, allowing it to sit flat on surfaces without rocking. Marques appreciates the stealth graphite look, although it is a fingerprint magnet.

The Nexus 6P has a super premium build, all metal all the way around these chamfered edges, and a nice bit of weight to it.

Fingerprint

The Nexus 6P introduces the Nexus Imprint fingerprint reader, a standout feature praised for its speed and convenience. Positioned on the back of the phone, it aligns perfectly with where the index finger naturally rests, making unlocking the device seamless and secure 1. Marques notes that the fingerprint reader's performance is on par with Huawei's renowned sensors, offering a quick touch-to-unlock experience. This placement, however, means that when the phone is on a table, users must either pick it up or use an alternative unlock method.

The touch to unlock was really quick with this one, and I really got used to it being there on the back of the phone.
