We have created a powerlifting program called MAPS Powerlift, which focuses on the three main lifts: deadlift, squat, and bench press. It is a great program for those who want to get good at these core lifts and overall strength. However, powerlifting training can come with potential risks, such as maintaining mobility and reducing the risk of injury and joint stress. That's why we have included mobility work and injury prevention components in our program. If you plan on competing in powerlifting, you should train with the tools that they allow you to compete in, such as a weight belt and knee wraps. But if you don't plan on competing, there's no need to use any of those things. Instead, focus on priming your body with mobility work, and the results will speak for themselves.
