You can't just go, oh, this is the house I want, and stare at that house forever and just expect that house to be yours in ten years. You have to work your butt off in order to get there.

    Serendipitous Events

Rob discusses the serendipitous events that occurred once he committed to his business venture. He met numerous people who were instrumental in helping him, which he attributes to the universe rewarding his commitment and hard work 2. These connections and opportunities would not have arisen had he not taken decisive action.

Once we decide to do something and we commit, and we 100% freaking commit, not just sit around with our thumbs, you know. You know what? Our thumbs up our butts or anything like that. And we commit to actually doing these, then all of these things start happening in our favor.

Rob underscores that these seemingly coincidental events are the universe's way of supporting those who are dedicated and proactive 2.

    Work Ethic

Rob uses an analogy to explain the universe's response to hard work versus inaction. He compares the universe to a teacher who is more likely to help a hardworking student than a lazy one 3. This analogy illustrates that the universe favors those who are diligent and committed to their goals.

If you think of the universe as your teacher and you as the student, you can choose which student that you want to be.

Rob encourages listeners to be like the hardworking student, as this mindset attracts more opportunities and support from the universe 3.
