Is there any connection between autoimmune disorders and chronically feeling emotionally overwhelmed as discussed in the episode BREAK THE ADDICTION To Negative Thoughts & Emotions By DOING THIS...| Dr. Caroline Leaf and the clip Body Signals Matter?
Hey, Gary. I recently saw you on the Sean Ryan Show, where you mentioned autoimmune disorders, particularly hypothyroidism and inflammatory bowel disease. I can understand why the body attacks the colon, but not the thyroid. What is the thyroid hiding that the body is attacking it (using your analogy of why the body attacks the gut due to leaky gut syndrome)? Any insights on how to fight either condition would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
I am going to a psychologist because I feel emotionless most of the time, experience manic episodes with hyperactivity and bursts of creativity, and have very down periods... I want to know if there are other treatments for constant anxiety besides speaking therapy, as that doesn't seem to help me despite my efforts.
