Could my low back injuries be caused by tight hips according to the episode Eric Cressey — Tactical Deep Dive on Back Pain, Movement Diagnosis, & More | The Tim Ferriss Podcast and the clip Back Pain Insights?
My lower back hurts when I run and has done for years. Physios say it’s weak glutes and a weak core that cause an anterior pelvic tilt. I don’t buy this; I can do countless hanging leg raises, squat 400lbs, and hip thrust 500lbs. I think what’s more likely is that I have glutes that lack endurance, maybe they are made up of primarily type 2 muscle fibers. What do you think?
