How did Peter find the right co-author?
Sources:
Peter Attia found his co-author, Bill Gifford, after a series of challenges with his book's initial reception and feedback from his agent and publisher. Initially, the publisher felt the book was too technical and lacked a narrative, leading to the suggestion of bringing in a co-author. Peter met with several potential co-authors, none of whom seemed to understand his vision. Eventually, on the advice of Bob Kaplan, Peter found Bill Gifford, who had written about topics that interested Peter, particularly a piece on Rapamycin in 2015. This connection led to a fruitful collaboration and the eventual publication of Peter's book 1 .
