Can humans sense magnetic fields?

Humans do not have the inherent ability to sense magnetic fields in the way some animals like turtles and birds do, due to the absence of specialized receptors for detecting magnetic fields. However, there is some evidence suggesting that under certain controlled conditions, a few individuals might be able to perceive magnetic fields better than chance. This suggests a potential, albeit not well-understood, capability within the human nervous system for magneto reception.
