Idaho scientists are experimenting with liquid propane in cloud seeding, which may enhance snowfall by working effectively at warmer temperatures compared to traditional silver iodide. While cloud seeding is gaining traction in several states due to increasing water demands, experts caution that it is not a cure-all for drought conditions, as it relies on existing moisture in storm clouds.
